He was a four year letter winner and Patrick Henry High school , while there the team reached the states semi finals 3 times and won the title in 2005 , he was voted 1st team all NWOAL QB Jr and Sr year , 2ND team all district Jr. Sr. year, and 2ND Team all Ohio quarterback Sr year. ... Jr. year stats 119 rushes for 895 yards 10 TD's Passing 102 for 179 1571 23 TD's 6 ints .......Senior year 136 rushes-1007 yards 9 TD's... Passing 119 for 198 2112 17 Td's 10 INT's .... Sophomore year he played Defensive end , 112 tackles 4 sacks and 10 tackles for a lose ... ( lead the team in sacks and TFL)
